Dempsey Wood Products has
served the Southeast pine and hardwood market for many years. Our products include chips for paper production, domestic
hard wood and pine lumber, landscaping mulch and various sizes of
pallets. The wood industry has evolved over the years, however our
desire to produce a quality product and provide great service has
not changed.
Pallet
Production- Our
state-of-the-art equipment gives us the ability to build a
variety of pallet sizes needed for today's growing market. We
can design specialty pallets to suit your exact shipping needs
including heat treated pallets that are approved for European
shipments. (HT certified) Member NWPCA, National Wooden
Pallet and Container Association.
Pallet
Cut Stock - A large
inventory of cut stock is kept on hand for the production of
pallets or to be sold to other pallet manufacturers.
Sawmill
Operations - Our
sawmill operation includes both hardwood and pine production
where we efficiently convert trees into a vast number of
marketable products.
Landscaping
Mulch - The bark raw
product is shredded into high quality hardwood and pine mulch
to be used for landscaping.
Wood
Chips - In the daily
process of manufacturing lumber, no part of the tree is
unused. The logs are cut into cants, the bark is sold as mulch
for landscaping, the chips for the paper industry and sawdust
for fuel.
